Looking for Alaska by John Green

“When adults say, “Teenagers think they are invincible” with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don’t know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die. Like all energy, we can only change shapes and sizes and manifestations. They forget that when they get old. They get scared of losing and failing. But that part of us greater than the sum of our parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail.”
John Green

  • Maze Runner by James Dashner – I loved this book from the moment I read the title. It has just the right amount of action and suspense to get me through the day.
  • Book Thief by Markus Zusak – The book is true to it’s title because it totally stole my heart.
  • Divergent Series by Veronica Roth- All I can say is this series has a safe pass into 2015. Yeah, it’s that good.
  • The Giver by Lois Lowry-   After the movie, we should remember to always cherish the classics.
  • If I stay by Gayle Forman- *Sniff* *Sniff* * Grabs tissue to dry eyes * I admit , I read this book more than 3 times. Trust me I’m going to re-read it until my eyes don’t have anymore tears and I break a record.
