happy-new-year-2015-tumblr-5Happy New Year All!!! We made it through 2014, and are ready to embark on the next journey in our lives or shall I say : the next book! . We want to start the new year right  so here is a list of books I enjoyed in 2014. Enjoy!!

  • The Fault In Our Stars by John Green – This book made me laugh, cry, and cry some more. This book will forever be in my heart, whether it’s breaking it (again and again) or putting it back together.
  • Maze Runner by James Dashner – I loved this book from the moment I read the title. It has just the right amount of action and suspense to get me through the day.
  • Book Thief by Markus Zusak – The book is true to it’s title because it totally stole my heart.
  • Divergent Series by Veronica Roth- All I can say is this series has a safe pass into 2015. Yeah, it’s that good.
  • The Giver by Lois Lowry-   After the movie, we should remember to always cherish the classics.
  • If I stay by Gayle Forman- *Sniff* *Sniff* * Grabs tissue to dry eyes * I admit , I read this book more than 3 times. Trust me I’m going to re-read it until my eyes don’t have anymore tears and I break a record.

Penny And the Magic Puffballs By : Alonda Williams

“Mom, why can’t I wear my hair down like all the other girls in my class?”fccd1572d43f875743746467946f5d84

Here lies Penny, a young girl struggling to find herself and become comfortable with who she is because she looks different than all the other girls in her class. Penny and The Magic Puffballs is a book  about how a young girls life adventure started with her hair. It’s a book made for ages 4-10, but the message applies for everyone and it’s definitely worth the buy. I read the book and built such a strong, connection with Penny that I bet you will as well. I give Penny and The Magic Puffballs 10 out of 10 sugar cubes. Check it out today!

The next one is “www.Kobo.com” I just found this website a few days ago and I have to say “I LOVE IT”. You can download books from Kobo straight to your mobile device and read it on the go.  A lot of the books on Kobo are free.   Kobo is for all ages, even babies! I love it!
